In another lifetime I started a Dance Company with two of my Salsa dance friends – it specialised specifically in lady styling in Salsa. Loads of flamenco and belly dancing influence the corporate identity was inspired by the curls and forms that goes into styling.

“Charisma” was the name taken by the lead teacher, Amanda Charis Rasch and we added the “dance, love, style” as it was very “eat, pray, love” cause we were all completely obsessed with ladies styling and the culture surrounding it. We decided to use hot pink and black as it we were the only female styling Salsa Dance Company in Cape Town at the time. A bit of “girl power”.
